Born in Sri Lanka, raised by a single mother from the age of 9, my inspiration, strength, drive, and success came from these humble beginnings.
Whilst attending a leading school called S. Thomas College the school by the sea, where the rest of my hunger for success, discipline, and focus came from. On completion of my studies at the age of 18, I moved to the UK to continue my further education. Young and inexperienced, I enrolled at Melton Mowbray College and commenced to support myself with three part time jobs taking up most of my free time.
Throughout my working career I have been involved in several sectors, Health & Social Care, Finance, Industrial, Manufacturing, Banking, Telecommunications and Recruitment. Holding positions from Recruitment, Sales, Training, Managerial, Operations to Directorship, a post I hold today. This diversity of positions in varying sectors, along with my professional development has enable me to pursue my passion, a career in Executive coaching and leadership development.
To further my education, I joined The Coaching Academy, a world-leading coach training provider, and became a qualified personal performance coach and accredited DISC Corporate trainer. I learned new tools and techniques that not only enabled me to take my purpose of work to a different level but to help others to live life to the full.
I am really fascinated by people, behaviour, and the mind, so I trained as an NLP practitioner/ timeline therapist and an NLP coach. This knowledge enables me to delve deeper into the root cause of your challenges, helping you to maximise results, and to find fulfillment.
In addition, I am also SFEDi Certified, and a Fellow member of the recruitment federation. I believe that learning is a life long journey, and there no end to it..
